Which class is right for my child?
Class placement is based on your child's age, experience, and readiness. Our instructors are happy to recommend the best fit.
Does my child need previous dance experience?
No. Ballet Folklórico, Mini Fuego, and Salsa Kids Training welcome beginners. The Salsa Competition Team requires instructor approval.
Can my child try a class before enrolling?
Yes! We offer a FREE Trial Class on the first Wednesday of each 8-week session. Advance registration is required.
What should my child wear to the trial class?
Comfortable athletic clothing and clean indoor shoes are perfect for the first class. We'll provide uniform and dance shoe information after enrollment.
Are we enrolling for the full academy year?
No. Kids Academy is divided into 8-week sessions, and families may join at the beginning of any session. We recommend continuing through multiple sessions for the best learning experience and recital participation.
Do students perform in recitals?
Yes! Students may perform in our Holiday Recital, Spring Recital, and selected community events.
Is the Competition Team included with regular enrollment?
The Salsa Competition Team is an advanced program for dancers who are ready for a higher level of commitment.
Can parents watch the class?
Parents are welcome at designated observation days, recitals, and performances. This helps students stay focused and build independence during class.
